Thorsby Swedish Fest

October 16, Thorsby Thorsby Swedish Fest 205-217-0978. Downtown--Thorsby was founded by Swedes in the late 1800s and was established as a Scandinavian Colony in the South. This year's celebration will feature a parade at 9 a.m., entertainment, arts, crafts and food vendors and heritage tours.
