UAB Gospel Choir 14th Anniversary "Holiday Concert" [Birmingham] [Nov 23, 2009]
The evening's concert will feature music for the entire family, especially children. The UAB Gospel Choir is "pulling out all the stops," said Turner, with a cast of 125 voices, the UAB Gospel Choir mime and dance team under the direction of Christina J. Wade, the Gospel Choir Band and a guest horn section. The concert also will feature children from local schools performing roles. The program includes musical styles from around the United States, including Hawaiian, Memphis, Miami, Bluegrass and urban contemporary, as well as gospel and holiday classics, singalongs, traditional and acoustic songs. 7 p.m.
