This exciting celebration begins at Furman School with display and video of town’s history. Walking and driving tours of historic landmarks take place throughout the day with lunch served from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Furman School Community Center, followed by the unveiling of Furman’s historic marker at 2 p.m. Historic homes and churches open for touring include Bethsaida Baptist Church, Furman Methodist Church, Wakefield Plantation, Fox Hill Plantation, Stabler Home and the Palmer-Britt Home.
