Eclectic Trade Days Second Saturday plans for exciting events and lively merchandise on August 8th offering an indoor/outdoor market plus entertainment at The Warehouse in downtown Eclectic. The market will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. providing an opportunity for local area vendors to sell antiques, artwork, clothing, architectural pieces, baked goods, locally made products, live animals, farm fresh produce including organic plus a nice array of food selections. Throughout the day, activities such as music, contests, educational displays and family activities will accompany the trading. At 9 a.m. that Saturday, The Warehouse will celebrate its official membership in the Wetumpka Chamber of Commerce with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Jan Wood and Terri Teague from the Chamber will be on hand along with Aubrey Hornsby to cut the ribbon to make the membership official. Mayor Gary Wright will be making a short speech after the ribbon cutting on Eclectic’s revitalization and plans for improvements. The Eclectic High School cheerleaders will be in attendance to add to the festivities. All are invited to participate.
