Each May the Town of Oak Grove has an annual Celebration called "Bloise Zeigler Day" where we honor older Americans and our former Mayor, Bloise Zeigler with a dinner and speeches from local dignitaries. This year, we will also be unveiling the Historic Marker Site where the Hodges Meteorite (the first modern occurrence of a comet striking a person) struck in our town. 256-249-9971. www.townofoakgrove.org. Attendance is free.
