37th Annual Alabama Designer Craftsmen Fine Craft Show

Juried artists' exhibition and sale of craft media including furniture, ceramics, pottery, stained glass, weaving, jewelry and more. For thirty five years we have showcased our members work at the very popular “Botanical Gardens show,” otherwise known as the Alabama Designer / Craftsmen Art and Fine Craft Show, which takes place every year in November at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Some of our artists have very interesting stories to tell: Nada Bonner is a grandmother turned sculptor, local furniture designer/maker, Richard Brewer is introducing a new furniture concept. The Frank Lloyd Wright inspired "Tablescape" interactive furniture series can adapt to the whim of its owners. Some artist members are corporate drop-outs seeking to simplify their lives. Some are husband & wife teams. Some go the extra mile such as shearing wool for spinning and weaving. Many have gained regional and national reputations.
