Asian Cultures & Food Spring Festival

This annual Asian arts and cultural festival is a fundraising event to support the Birmingham Chinese Garden & Asian Cultural Center Foundation and its projects. The festival offers much more than the opportunity to sample the many delicious Asian foods that will be available or buy imported Asian art and goods at the Asian Bazaar; it will also celebrate the many Asian arts and cultures represented there. From the Natyananda Indian dance troupe to the display model of and site tour for the proposed Birmingham Classical Chinese Garden, from an Asian Fashion Show to tales told by a world travelling Asian story teller from California, from an elegantly costumed presenter of Japanese Bhuto to kite building and flying contests for children, this year's entertainment promises to make this festival an outstanding family event.
