4th of July Walking Parade

Line up, registration, and judging in front of Sheffield Public Library, 208 N. Montgomery Ave., at 9:15. First, second & third place prizes for best patriotic costume and best decorated bicyle, tricycle, scooter, battery operated car, wagon for two age groups--0 to 6 yrs. and 7 to 12 years--no motorized vehicles other than the fire truck & police escort. 10:00 a.m. proceed to Viet Nam Veterans Memorial (1300 N. Montgomery Av) for Pledge of Allegiance, National Anthem, & prayer for past & present military personnel. Patriotic music, free watermelon, & lemonade and prizes for children at Gordon Park, 1400 N. Montgomery Ave.
