Mountain Biking - Mark’s Loop

This newer 2.8-mile trail bit more challenging and washed out than Mark’s Loop, but it is appropriate for new and intermediate mountain bikers. It is also very fast, curvy and non-technical.

Skill Level:
Tough intermediate or advanced
Route Info:
The trail is a closed loop that starts at the Hunter’s Camp, just west of Highway 9 on the Joseph Springs Motorway (See Below). The trail is blazed with red arrows and circulates near the base of Morgan Mountain.
Variations:
Family Trail: Can be ridden from the parking area as a 2.2-mile warm-up for Mark’s Loop.

Bad Boy: Splits off from Mark’s Loop for a 2-mile excursion across the face of Morgan Mountain. The trail is steep, and precipitously perched on the side of the mountain. This trail is recommended for advanced riders only.

Morgan’s Best: This is another optional 2-mile advanced trail that completes the climb to the top of Morgan Mountain. Follow Bad Boy counter-clockwise until Morgan’s Best splits off to cut a very steep path to the top of Morgan Mountain. There is a nice view from the top of Morgan’s Mountain. The trail returns to Bad Boy via a very steep downhill. Intermediate riders are recommended to return the way came up.
