Skill Level:
Easy/Intermediate This ride does require some navigation skills and puts the rider onto the open road. There are a number of short hills on the route, but no long climbs. There are no stores en route, so someone considering this loop should be able to sustain for 21 miles without support.
Route Info:
The 21-mile loop is easy to navigate from the entrance of the park. It is probably more difficult to find the start than it is to navigate the loop.
Variations:
There are numerous, more adventurous ride options from Lake Lurleen Park. This point can be used as the start point for the 62-mile Echola ride. Check with the Druid City Bicycle Club for information on longer road rides from Lake Lurleen. (www.druidcity.org)
