The Jack Allen Recreational Complex is site of the Alabama Soccer Association's coveted Governor's Cup, each fall. Located in southwest Decatur, this world-class soccer complex and recreational center features baseball fields, walking and running trails and a children's playground. The soccer complex is available for practice and games. The park includes 30 acres of laser-graded, irrigated, and fully-lighted fields with certified sports turf which houses nine international size soccer fields. The complex ranks among the best in the Southeastern United States, offering exceptional lighting, a complete concession building, and grandstand steating in a beautiful wooded setting.

Directions:: Directions to JARC from Birmingham: Go north on I-65 to the Hwy. 67 exit (exit 334). Exit to the right off of the interstate, go to the bottom of the ramp and turn left (going back under the I-65 overpass). Go about 8 mi. on Hwy. 67 (which is called Beltline after you cross Hwy. 31 or 6th Ave) to Modaus Road. Modaus Road will be the traffic light after Spring Ave. There is a Home Depot on the left. Make a left onto Modaus Rd. and continue approximately 2 mi. At this point, Modaus Road will be a 2-lane road. Where the road widens into 3 lanes, just past Cedar Ridge Baptist Church, turn right on the road going up the hill. Follow the road over the hill to the parking area. Directions to JARC from Huntsville and points North: From Huntsville, take I-565 towards Decatur and continue past I-65 where I-565 becomes Hwy. 20. From the north, take I-65 S. and take exit 340 towards Decatur on Hwy. 20. Follow Hwy. 20 as it curves to the left when it merges with Hwy. 31 just before you cross the Tennessee River. You will cross over the River Bridge. Once you cross the river, you may continue south on Hw. 31 through Decatur for about 3 mi. Turn right onto Hwy. 67 (Beltline), and follow the directions above. ). The Lynn Layton Chevrolet car dealership is on the corner of Hwy. 67 and 31. Or, to avoid traffic, once you cross the river, turn right at the first traffic light (at the Holiday Inn) and follow Hwy. 20. Go approximately 4.5 mi. to Woodall Rd/Finley Island Rd. There is a Discount Food Mart gas station on one corner and a Jacks Restaurant on the other. Turn left onto Woodall Rd. Continue on Woodall Rd. for approximately 4 mi. At 3 mi., Woodall Rd. becomes Shady Grove Lane SW. Shady Grove Lane SW (Woodall Rd) intersects Modaus Rd. Make a left onto Modaus Road. At approximately 0.7 miles, Modaus Rd. widens into 3 lanes. At this point make a left on the road going up the hill. Follow the road over the hill to the parking area.
